Same Day Virtual Care — When You Need to Be Seen Today
Life doesn't wait for an open appointment slot. When you're feeling sick and your doctor can't see you for days — or you don't have a primary care provider at all — you deserve fast, affordable, and genuinely personal care from someone who is clinically qualified to help. Kentucky Health Advocacy's same day virtual visits bring experienced, compassionate care directly to you, wherever you are in Kentucky, without the waiting room, the insurance hassle, or the uncertainty of who you'll be seeing.
Why I'm Qualified to Treat You
I am a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with nearly 20 years of clinical experience diagnosing and treating patients across the lifespan. As an FNP, I hold full prescriptive authority and am licensed to independently assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of acute and common illnesses — the same conditions managed daily in urgent care clinics and primary care offices. My clinical background spans direct patient care in complex, fast-paced healthcare environments, giving me the diagnostic experience and clinical judgment to treat your concern accurately and efficiently. You will receive evidence-based care delivered by a seasoned clinician who takes your symptoms seriously, communicates clearly, and is committed to getting you the right treatment — without the wait.
What I Can Treat
Same day virtual visits are available for a wide range of common acute illnesses, including sinus infections, influenza, sore throat, ear infections, conjunctivitis (pink eye), poison ivy, skin infections, and urinary tract infections in women. Additional services include travel health consultations with malaria prophylaxis guidance, yellow fever vaccine recommendations, and oral contraceptive prescriptions.
To ensure you receive the most appropriate care for your needs, same day virtual visits do not include treatment for ADHD, pain management, or urinary symptoms in men. If your concern falls outside of what I offer, I'll always be transparent about that and help guide you toward the right provider or resource.
If you're unsure whether your concern is appropriate for a virtual visit, reach out before booking — I'll give you an honest answer and point you in the right direction if needed.
How It Works
Getting care through Kentucky Health Advocacy is designed to be simple from start to finish. Once you schedule your visit and complete your brief intake forms, we'll connect at your appointment time through my secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform — all you need is a smartphone, tablet, or computer with internet access. During your visit, we'll talk through your symptoms, I'll ask any necessary clinical questions, and together we'll determine the best course of treatment. If a prescription is needed, I'll send it directly to your pharmacy of choice. The entire process is straightforward, unhurried, and focused entirely on getting you the care you need.
Transparent Pricing
Same day virtual visits are cash pay only — no insurance, no surprise bills, and no hidden fees. You'll always know exactly what your visit costs before you book. Transparent pricing means you can make informed decisions about your care without navigating the frustrating uncertainty that too often comes with traditional healthcare billing.
All same day visits are $100.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you take insurance? Same day virtual visits are cash pay only. This allows me to keep pricing transparent, appointments unhurried, and care focused entirely on you rather than on billing requirements. Payment is due at the time of your visit. All same day visits are $100. Prescriptions are not included and will be based on your insurance plan. If you do not have insurance and need a prescription, I will work with you to find something within your budget at your preferred pharmacy.
Can you send a prescription to my pharmacy? Yes. If a prescription is clinically appropriate for your situation, I will send it directly to the pharmacy of your choice following your visit.
What if my condition needs in-person care? Your safety is always the priority. If your symptoms suggest a condition that requires in-person examination, testing, or emergency care, I will tell you clearly and help guide you to the right resource. Virtual care is appropriate for many common illnesses, but there are situations where being seen in person is the right call — and I will always be honest with you about that.
Is this the same as going to urgent care? In many ways, yes — with a few important differences. You'll be seen by an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner without leaving your home, without sitting in a waiting room, and without the uncertainty of who you'll see when you arrive. For common illnesses that can be assessed and treated virtually, this is a faster, more personal, and often more affordable alternative.
How quickly will I be seen? Same day visits are available based on current scheduling availability. Once you book your appointment and complete your intake paperwork, you'll be seen at your scheduled time with no unnecessary delays.
